Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

MAKES: 16 • READY: in 20 minutes

Stuff you’ll need:
2 small bowls, measuring cups, paper towel, baking sheet, waxed paper

pound fresh strawberries
cup semisweet chocolate chips
cup white chocolate chips

1. Wipe each strawberry with paper towel to remove any dust. Do not get them wet!

2. Place semisweet chocolate chips in a small microwave safe bowl. Microwave at 50% power for 2 minutes. Remove from microwave and stir to melt chocolate. (Microwave at 50% power for 30 more seconds if necessary.) Be careful, chocolate can burn.

3. Place white chocolate chips in a different bowl and melt as directed above. Be careful, white chocolate burns easily.

4. Line a baking sheet with waxed paper. Hold a strawberry by its stem and quickly dip it in one of the melted chocolates. Place on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with remaining strawberries – dipping half in semisweet chocolate and half in white chocolate. Use leftover chocolate to make decorate each strawberry with zig-zags, lines or dots. Best eaten the same day!
